Balancing With Nature

 
This past weekend, my husband and I, celebrated college graduation (for my husband) by taking a little camping trip.

 
We had so much fun buying all the gear we needed in order to camp out in the widerness. We bought our first tent, dutch oven and cooler and many more camping supplies. We loved putting up our new tent! It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! And it was suprisingly satisfying to be able to rely wholly upon ourselves to get a fire started, cook food, gather firewood, chop firewood, etc. etc. It truly was a very renewing experience.

 
After getting lost on a hike, inhaling all we could of the beautiful scenery, my getting badly sun-burned and both of us getting practically eaten to death by bugs we truly feel restored! Ha ha ha! Hope your weekend was as much fun!

I love your pictures! Glad it was a fun time. I forgot that you were going to be camping last weekend. I was at Thankgiving point for a training and I was thinking I would come up and visit you but I just decided to come home.

Looks like fun! I want to go camping soooo bad, but Preston's not a tent person.
